enjoy small things in life!!!

When we were kids we used to live on daily basis. Our aims were small things like finishing our homework fast so that we could go out to play quickly, to win a race, a match with our neighbuoring building guys, finishing the cake before our siblings could put their hands on it, helping mom for a dairy milk etc. But as we all grow up we set big Aims for ourselves!!! Like getting into engineering or medical, doing MBA, and these big aims keep getting bigger as we grow old.
This blog is not about AIMS. It is to stop you for a second and make u enjoy the pleasure of small things in life. Here’s a list of some things which if you havnt done yet your missing out on life’s small wonders.
Here’s the list of very silly and small things but it will give you immense pleasure if you do it in a life of Mumbai metro-

1. Starting with my favourite and a yearly ritual--- Go GET WET IN THE RAINS at least once every year. Water does help you releave stress the catch is get wet while returning home in the evening so u don’t get tensed of reaching office or college.

2. TAPRI KI CHAI---so what if you are a girl drinking a cup of tea from the local vendors is a fun in itself. Break the norms n go drink a cup of tea with ur friends at the tapri.

3. Mumbai ki speciality VADA PAU n BHAJIYA PAU--- especially in the chilling winter have a garam garam vada pau or bhajiya pau it tastes yummmmmmmy. Try it.

4. FILTER KOFFEE--- madras café se coffee nai piye traditional way mei toh kya khak koffee piya. Jo mazza who steel k katori mei hai who barista n café coffee day k modern cups mei kahan.

5. SUGARCANE JUICE--- its d cheapest source of releaving thurst in a hot sunny day aur agar college friends saath ho toh toh baat hi kya hai!!!

6. COLLEGE CANTEEN MEI GANA GANA--- no matter how old it sounds it’s a hit to sing in the canteen. Kabhi canteen mei ga k toh dekho waha toh table bhi tabla aur besuron k bhi sur lag jate hai ladkiyon ko pass hote dekh ke and the best part is sab besure hi hote hai toh khud ko kissi na kissi se better toh hum maan hi sakte hai.

7. WALK AT THE BEACH WITH A CRUSH--- even thou u wont express it to him/her and you wont agree with me at this we all know how precious is the memory of have a walk at d beach in the evening with your crush walking besides you.

8.PANI PURI--- all girls know how irresistible it becomes not to eat pani puri when you pass thru the stalls.

9. EATING KALLAKHATA GOLA--- we all have loved seeing our tongues look in different colors after eating these gola’s.

10.WISHING SOMEONE AT 12AM--- it always gives a feel good feeling to celebrate a birthday at 12am or even calling them at that time to both the birthday person and the one who is wishing.

There are many more things which differ from individual to individual about enjoying life but the basic thing I wana say here is KEEP THE KID IN YOU ALIVE. We know we grow up and have responsibilities and certain times we change our taste saying these are cheap things but consider this you have enjoyed these things in your childhood so why cant you do it now. After your regular routine when you do something kiddish if not the fun of doing it then the memory of you doing these things in your childhood or teenage will surely give you the feel good factor.

yet another story of success to a life of depression!

2 December 2011 saw the release of a most awaited and most talked about movie called "DIRTY PICTURE".
The movie is been made in a good way and the acting of Vidya balan is very convincing but some where towards the end it reminds you of the movies like "woh lamhe" and "fashion" all 3 movies have one thing in common and that is in the end it only shows that after a point the success goes to a person's head and they start disrespecting their collegues and their own work which lead them to this success and finally their downfall starts and they get lost in the world of the unknown, they get replaced by some other upcoming talent, their own friends or so called well wishers start ignoring them and the person gets into depression and takes drugs and  alcohol and decides to commit suicide.
The difference in dirty picture is that its a true story of silk smita about how a make up artist becomes the most wanted item girl in the 70's era and the role is been potrayed fabulously by Vidya Balan. hats off to her acting skills although she looks ugly when her fats are shown in the last part of the movie but thats how the original person was in the 70's. They had all the fats back then and yet were hit for the boldness in thier roles unlike in the recent bollywood where being in shape is die hard important. I am neither supporting any of the 2 scenario's.
But the question that comes to my mind is WHY??? Why do film makers only make movies on success went bad stories that have depressing ends and why cant they make a story of some real life success stories like Amitabh Bachan or there are so many others who's stories we all want to know and which for a change would have a good end hopefully rather then ends which promote suicides.
